My Everyday and Cheap makeup look!

Today I wanted to share with everyone my everyday makeup look, Its all pretty easy and fairly cheap. I like to splurge on mac and estee lauder for those special occasions, but running errands, going to work, just trying to look girly, I go through it more often and just because it doesn't have a huge price tag on it, doesn't mean its not good makeup. So here is my everyday makeup look:

This is me bright eyed and bushy tailed with nothing on what so ever.

I started off with L'Oreal BB cream. I know there is a lot of mixed reviews, but I love that it has primer and spf right in there, and as someone who wears spf like its going out of style, it love that I can do multiple things at once. Its also only about 8 bucks at Target.

Bye bye freckles! This is after BB cream

I love this little N.Y.C face polish. I got it from Dollar Tree, and for a dollar, you cant beat that. I love this cause It contours and highlights right in one little pot. Its easily spreadable with my fingers and it has a little sparkle.

Side view after contouring and highlighting.

Next I use E.L.F blush in Twinkle Pink which retails for about three dollars.

Since I already contoured and I want that to stand out, I only put on blush on the apples of my cheeks. I also use the E.L.F powder brush to put it on, which is a flat head, and retails for three dollars.

Face complete.

Next I used E.L.F eyebrow kit, which also retails for 3 bucks. It has a gel and a power to fill them in.

I then set my eyebrows with the E.L.F Essential Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara.

Eyebrows totally done.

As you can tell I have had this awhile, ha, but I use the bottom three colors mixed together to go on my crease. then I take the lighter purple for my crease, the darker purple for the outer edge, then take the top middle and line my inner creases. This is my urban decay ultimate palette, which sadly they no longer make, so I will have to find a newer one shortly, maybe I'll give in and get the naked palette. I then use the E.L.F essential liquid eyeliner which is a dollar, and line my eyes with it. Finally I use Sephora's They're Real sample mascara I got for my birthday, and L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara which is about 7 bucks.

My eyes completely done.

I use N.Y.X Butter Gloss which is about 6 dollars, depending on what store you buy it from. It is five dollars on the website.

Makeup final look. If I'm hurrying, I will leave off the blush or the contouring, it all depends on where I'm going as well.

After hair is done.

Ask me for any colors or any other questions, feel free to leave a comment!

Blood Moon.

Did you get a chance to check out the 'blood moon' aka the lunar eclipse that appeared on the night of April 14 into the 15th? I am a total night-owl and I stay up late anyways, and taking an Astronomy  so I decided to bust out the tripod and take pictures. My finace kept telling me you cant look directly at it. I told him, that's a Solar Eclipse, and he proceeded to debate with me for a good 10 mins until I had the good fortune of proving it via Google. I took a bunch of pictures, and spent a long time looking into my view finder on my camera, because its the closest thing to a telescope I have. Only North America could see it, so here are some of the pictures I took. Many people tried to tell me the dot on the bottom was Mars, which can be seen really good in our atmosphere right now. The bottom lighter white dot is a star called Spica, the top left red dot, is Mars.

For those of you that do not know, a lunar eclipse is when the Earth Sun and Moon align and the Earth passes through the shadow of the others, depending on the type of Lunar Eclipse it is.

This is the actual "blood moon" taking about 245 am
This is the moon slowly orbiting and moving half way out of the shadow.

This is about 4am, with the moon almost completely out of the shadow.

The next three blood moon eclipses will occur on October 8th of this year, and then on April 4th and September 28th in 2015, so mark your calenders!

I took these pictures with my Nike D3000

Please excuse the messy room, sometimes you don't know what to do with all the half done canvases!

I live in the Midwest so our springs, are still kind of chilly, its not near hot enough to wear shorts, at least not for me, I swear I'm cold blooded!

I love this outfit, I bought it last spring, and only got to wear it a couple of times, but its super comfy and I am the type of girl that likes to look cute but still be able to lounge around, what can I say...lazy!

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather, I am just thankful that no one got hurt in MO after last weeks tornadoes, sometimes it really sucks living in Tornado Valley! If its one thing I am scared of is storms, but its probably because we do not have a basement. I looked into tornado shelters, and there is companies that will come out for 4 thousand dollars, and shovel away the dirt, put it under ground and then make it look really cute on top for you. That is my next goal purchase! Call me crazy, but I call me SAFE! haha.
